Meet the Executive Team
Jamie is a purpose-driven leader with over 20 years in the renewable energy sector with experience in Australia and across Asia. Jamie founded Someva in 2017 as a specialist renewable energy developer that creates shared value by delivering renewable energy projects that produce meaningful social and economic benefits to communities, Indigenous Australians, and regional stakeholders. Prior to founding Someva, Jamie was CEO of Redaya Energi – Equis as well as Senior Vice President at Energon – Equis. During this period Jamie led the contracting and investment in over 400MW of wind projects from development through to operation. Jamie is also a co-founder and former director of Pollinate Energy, a social enterprise now providing solar to over 600,000 people across India.
Tim comes from an engineering background and has worked as a Senior Project Manager delivering large scale wind and solar developments across the full project life cycle from development and construction, through to operations. Tim successfully managed the delivery of the first co-located solar and wind farm in Australia, and managed one of Australia’s first split-contract wind farms. Tim leads Someva’s renewable energy development team and brings strong technical and commercial expertise to Someva’s projects. Tim is committed to developing renewable energy projects across Australia to support the transition to renewable energy and to create shared value by delivering meaningful benefits and best practice outcomes to host communities.
Geoff is the former CEO of Tilt Renewables / Powering Australia Renewables and has recently been appointed as Executive Chair to Someva Renewables as it matures into a leading Australian renewable energy business. With more than 30 years of international experience in the energy, engineering and property sectors, Geoff is one of the most experienced leaders in the Australian renewable energy sector. He brings extensive executive leadership experience, capability, and knowledge spanning strategy, operations, development, customers, and energy markets to the Someva team. He has previously served as Executive General Manager of CleanCo (during the establishment phase), Chief Executive Officer of Wind Energy Holding Australia, Group Head of Sustainability at LendLease, and Chief Operating Officer of Infigen Energy / Babcock & Brown Wind Partners.
Felicity is an executive leader with a track record for commercialising award-winning organisations, building high performing teams, establishing strong partnerships, and delivering innovation. Felicity has over 25 years of clean energy industry experience. Prior to Someva, Felicity was Managing Consultant with Stride Renewables providing strategic advice to renewable energy developers navigating the rapidly evolving energy market. Felicity’s career has been driven by a long-held and strong drive to create a sustainable future for all. Her former roles have included Managing Director and CEO of Enova Community Energy, Head of Retail for Pooled Energy, Senior Product Manager for Australian Power & Gas, Business Development Manager for Low Energy Supplies & Services and Program Manager at the NSW Government’s Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA).
Angela has developed a strong presence in the field of renewable power project development across the Asia-Pacific region with over 12 years of engineering experience. Driving Angela’s work is a honed experience in over 30 large-scale wind and solar projects in Australia, Antarctica, and the Philippines where she has led feasibility studies, project management, contract administration, design and technical engineering review services including wind turbine inspections. Angela has complete end-to-end experience covering the entire project development cycle from feasibility through to operations and maintains a commitment to best practice oversight on all stages of her projects.
Michelle has been integral in the development of multiple large-scale wind and solar projects in Australia, excelling at complex change management and stakeholder engagement. She is a seasoned leader with over 15 years’ experience building and facilitating excellence in renewable energy development teams. For more than a decade, she was a key member of Epuron’s management team, playing a pivotal role in the company’s acquisition process. Michelle subsequently served as Senior Manager of Finance and Administration at Ark Energy Corporation. She has a strong background in finance, process and business management, with a focus on workstream management. Her career is marked by her dedication to driving success within her teams and delivering outstanding renewable energy projects. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Foundations of Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Tom is a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Renewable Energy. As Technical Lead for Someva, Tom supports project development through engineering, geospatial systems, resource management and technical development. Tom manages the technical team’s inputs into projects. With a background in project engineering, Tom has experience supporting the delivery of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle.
With a career steeped in the complex dynamics of the national security sector, Greg has established himself as a strategic leader in Australia. Over a decade of service, he has spearheaded key initiatives in volatile and conflict-affected environments showcasing a deft understanding and application of both qualitative and quantitative research methods to navigate multicultural landscapes. Particularly noteworthy is his role with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) where he orchestrated policies and programs in the Indo-Pacific region, a tenure marked with the receipt of the AFP Assistant Commission’s Certificate of Excellence in 2021-22.
Greg has also significantly contributed to Australia’s Foreign Policy, steering critical advice within governmental technical working groups, and playing a pivotal role in policy proposals and monitoring arrangements. Greg is passionate about creating environments that support change, and collaborating with individuals and organisations to solve complex and impactful issues across the globe.
Meghan is a professional with a rich background in law, psychology, and international justice development. She’s been deeply involved with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), shaping high-impact programs predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region. With a keen interest for qualitative and quantitative research, Meghan employs a compassionate and analytical approach, weaving individual narratives into public policy, and is recognised for cultivating enduring relationships in complex and diverse environments.
With a portfolio that bears testimony to her commitment to a safer and more equitable future, Meghan has played pivotal roles in evaluating and guiding programs around the world. From leading the evaluation of the Pacific Transnational Crime Network, to facilitating reforms through consultations with the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police, her efforts have continually fostered transparency, accountability, and cooperation in the region. Closer to home, Meghan has steered social impact assessments for renewable projects, working closely with communities, including Indigenous and First Nations groups to ensure the creation of symbiotic frameworks of benefit and growth.
Katerina is Head of Commercial and Investments at Boundless Earth a Board member of the NSW Net Zero Emissions and Clean Economy Board and works with family offices on investment into clean technology companies. She was part of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation’s Venture Capital Innovation Fund, and a founder of award-winning Pollinate Energy (the largest provider of solar lighting to slum communities across India and Nepal).
Katerina is an international advocate for climate finance and was recognised in the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence. She was the London School of Economics Entrepreneur of the Year and was awarded the Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize. Katerina was a Chevening Scholar at the London School of Economics where she studied Environmental Economics and Climate Change.Kat is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and brings governance, investment and scaling growth expertise to Someva.
Jerry is the founder of Wind Pioneers, a specialist wind engineering and consultancy firm providing investors and developers technical services. Jerry has worked as an energy engineer in the industry since 2009, previously leading teams across Asia for DNV GL/Garrad Hassan. Jerry provides wind engineering and technical services to Someva to improve wind and energy forecasting.
